The campus which grew organically needed an overarching strategic vision that would map out renovations providing a more cohesive home for a community bound together by an important mission.
A small but specialized institution nestled in the Hudson Valley of New York State offers a critical and targeted program for students with dyslexia or language-based learning differences. A day and boarding school along with a teacher training institute establishes Kildonan as a true resource for learning support. A comprehensive master planning workshop was conducted with user groups including students and faculty. The deliverable outlined priorities to be addressed over a number of years through phased renovations and construction.
